The five natures, what they inflict, and who beats whom.
Chakra takes five natures — Katon (fire), Futon (wind), Raiton (lightning), Doton (earth) and Suiton (water). Your nature comes from your blessing, not from the individual technique, so it is a decision you make once before the match rather than mid-fight.
Some techniques have no nature at all. Those are neither strong nor weak against anything, which is a real trade: they never get the bonus, but they never eat the penalty either.
Hitting someone whose nature you beat multiplies your damage by 1.25.
Hitting someone who beats yours multiplies it by 0.8. Same nature, or either side having no
nature at all, is 1 — no bonus, no penalty.
This grid is generated by asking the simulation about every pairing, so it is the cycle the game actually runs, not a copy of it.
Earth release. Strong vs. Suiton, weak to Raiton. Silences foes — a brief cast lockout that seals their chakra.

15 techniques carry this nature.
Wind release. Strong vs. Raiton, weak to Katon. Disarms foes — a brief weapon lockout that knocks the blade off-line.
Blessings: Fūjin, Kamikaze, Hayabusa
16 techniques carry this nature.
Fire release. Strong vs. Futon, weak to Suiton. Ignites foes with Burn (DoT).
Blessings: Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi, Ōkamuro
16 techniques carry this nature.
Void / no element. Deals and takes ×1.0 damage from all elements; no counterplay bonuses or penalties.
Blessings: Yomi, Magatsuhi, Oonamuchi
33 techniques carry this nature.
Lightning release. Strong vs. Doton, weak to Futon. Stuns foes with Shock.
Blessings: Raijin, Takemikazuchi, Inazuma
