Wiki/Matches
From the front page to your first elimination.
You do not need an account to play. Opening the game signs you in as a guest and puts you on the front page; Quick Match from there puts you in a live game. Progress you earn as a guest is kept, and you can attach a real account to it later without losing it.
Matches are played in the browser against other players. If a team is short when the match starts it is filled out with bots, so a game begins when you press the button rather than whenever enough people happen to be queuing.
The mode is Team Deathmatch: two teams, one arena, and the team with the most eliminations wins. There is no objective to carry or capture — finding good fights and winning them is the whole game.
Being eliminated is not the end of your match. You respawn after a short pause with a few seconds of spawn protection, which is there to stop you being killed again before you can move, and which ends the moment you attack.
Every ninja carries the same three things into a match: a melee weapon for close range, a throwable for everything else, and a set of techniques — jutsu — paid for with chakra. Chakra refills on its own, so techniques are limited by timing rather than by ammunition.
Which techniques you have is decided before the match by your loadout, and the blessing you pick decides both the kit you draw from and your elemental nature — which in turn decides who you hit hard and who shrugs you off. That is covered under elements.
The match ends on a results screen showing the final score and how you did. From there you can leave feedback or press Play Again and go straight into another one.
